Aluminium 5082 Coils consist mainly of aluminium alloyed with magnesium and manganese, providing good corrosion resistance and moderate-to-high strength. The alloy contains tensile strength from 260–340 MPa and yield strength from 150–200 MPa. It has excellent weldability, formability, and toughness, with structural stability in chemical and marine environments. Though not heat-treatable, Aluminium 5082 increases its strength by cold working.
